Two of the primary features ofFar Cry 6on PC are AMD Super Resolution and ray tracing, but they don't make equally big of a departure as they should. Ray tracing isn't as well demanding, but it as well doesn't produce a much better-looking image. Similarly, FSR tin can practice a lot of work, only it benefits depression-end cards far more.

The RTX 3090 showed virtually no difference with Super Resolution on, regardless of the quality mode. There seems to exist an upper limit jump by the CPU, and so the more graphics card power you have, the less of a do good you'll see from Super Resolution. You tin see some of that at work in our criterion results above, with the RTX 3090 showing less of a benefit over the other cards than it shows at 4K.

The RX 580, on the other hand, makes a compelling argument for FSR. We pushed this menu by running a test at 4K Ultra settings, averaging out to just 19 fps.
